Structural repairs on a coal stacker – NSW

Structural repair works on a coal stacker in NSW called for a containment solution that could be installed quickly while providing reliable protection around the work area.

Installed by Rize Scaffold, the project used Safe Seal FR Shrink Wrap alongside a Keder roof truss system and a smart pre-wrapped, cranable roof design. Rather than wrapping the roof once it was in position, the roof was pre-wrapped on the ground and then craned into place, helping streamline the installation and reduce time on site.

The result was a highly efficient installation, with the job wrapped in under 24 hours.

The Keder roof truss system provided the structure, while the FR shrink wrap created the enclosed work environment required for the structural repair works. It's a great example of how smart planning and the right containment system can make a significant difference on large industrial projects.
